The Design School of the Universidad Modelo presents annually the changes and the new in the world of design; the projects and achievements of their students and as an institution, through its journal and physical exhibition open to everyone who wants to dig into the unique ways of students solving problems through design.

Camino al Diseño represents the 25th anniversary of the School of Design in the 2022 edition.

Challenge

In an era of pandemic uncertainty, we all felt disoriented; above all, this weight fell on the students who are part of the innovative force that lies ahead. But the challenges open the doors to new opportunities, and we had to show them the design was going through a revival in its local and global tecnology impact.

Light at the end of the road

The essence of this project goes beyond the annual campaign with the blog, thematic exhibition and media management; but the real purpose is to encourage and empower students and designers that our sense still remains strong.

The path to Design takes place in a galactic environment where ideas and possibilities are infinite, colors that guide us towards the security and dynamism of the path we are about to travel. The tools are available in front of us, we have to make the first step. Always firm, always moving.

My personal win in this project was getting the positive feedback from the students that participated in all this event, nothing fills more than those words.

The website served as a means to highlight the innovation projects of the graduates of the respective period. An ode and applause to the sense of soul and contribution of each project.

The bold colors and elements aims at the calm sense at nightfall, where it is easier to dream and create, where we see reflected the immensity of possibilities that exist in all the space. This allows us to be creative and critical thinkers.

We will always be evolving and moving forward.

This process was like a sprint, as it was requested a month and a half before the launch of the exhibition. So I was agile with my proposals and reviews together with my career coordinator, Alejandro Marrufo.
